Marshall Lee Professor Emeritus

Marshall Lee is a Professor Emeritus from Pacific University. Dr. Lee joined the faculty at Pacific in 1974 and taught until 2000. Dr. Lee developed the contemporary Pacific University Department of History. When he came to Pacific, it was a two-person department. He oversaw the addition of teaching positions in Medieval History and Asian History.

Dr. Lee taught courses in European and German history. He also developed and team taught the popular Winter III course on the Holocaust.

Dr. Lee is married to Esther Odiorne Lee. They have a son and a daughter. The Lees live in Portland, OR.
