Pacific University Asian Studies

This site, housed and produced by the Matsushita Center for Electronic Learning (MCEL) located on the campus of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, U.S.A., provides resources for both regional and international students and teachers of Asian Studies at all levels.
This is the entry point for subsequent areas of the page. A significant portion of this site has been generously supported by Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, Ltd., as well as various other agencies and individuals. If you are a K-12 teacher or a K-12 student doing research on this site, please read the information here before proceeding.
In addition, certain pages noted below have been funded by the Association of Asian Studies on the Pacific Coast, by the Oregon Council for the Humanities, Association for Asian Studies, and by the Northeast Asian Council of the Association of Asian Studies. This site is maintained by Dr. Jeffrey Barlow and Hugh Huy Ly. Suggestions and comments will be gratefully received.
