The AMR Journal Article Abstracts Database is a companion product of Applied Mechanics Reviews. This online database includes abstracts from more than 350 international journals in the engineering sciences and contains over 250,000 records.

Subscribers can access, not only the most recently published journal article abstracts, but thousands of abstracts from the AMR Archive dating back to 1989. Each month over 1,500 article abstracts in mechanics and related fields are added to the database. All abstracts are arranged by a comprehensive subject classification scheme with extensive cross-indexing.

This database has full-search capabilities. Users can perform a simple keyword search or choose from the options of either an Expert Search or an Advanced Search. The Advanced Search lets users specify search parameters. The Expert Search allows users to type an explicit search statement themselves. In addition, Fielded Searching will also be available soon.

Access for institutions is by IP recognition. Access for individuals is through use of a username and password.
