Students Create a Commemorative Aircraft
And Improve on the Wright Brothers' Design

Editor's Note: One Hundred years ago next month the brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright ushered in the age of powered flight. In honor of the centennial of their momentous achievement at Kitty Hawk, N.C., on Dec. 17, 1903, this entire issue of The ASME Mechanical Advantage is devoted to an outstanding student project that commemorates the Wrights' achievement in a way that would surely make the pioneers of flight proud.
