THE VENUE
Perfectly located on Orlando's closest beach, the Hilton Cocoa
Beach Oceanfront is "mission control" for your vacation or business
meeting. In the heart of Florida's space coast, we have miles of
sandy white beach and the sun-wreathed waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Our heated pool is nestled in the area's largest oceanfront pool
deck, a perfect place to splash with the kids or watch the next
shuttle race into space.
The Cape Canaveral Section will be hosting two courses, each running
2.5 days. PD 010 will be presented February 2-4, ending mid-day
on the 4th. PD 102 begins the afternoon of February 4th concluding
on Friday, February 6th. Registrants interested in attending both
courses for a full 5 days of instruction can attend at the rate

An expert instructor presents a comprehensive review and analysis
of the ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators. All
phases of the industry are discussed: design, construction, installation,
operation, maintenance, alteration, inspection, and testing. The
course also includes a review of the elevator and escalator requirements
under the Amercians with Disabilities Act (ADA).

This comprehensive course is based on ASME A17.2.1-1993 Inspector’s
Manual for Electric Elevators and ASME A17.2.2-1994 Inspector’s
Manual for Hydraulic Elevators. Inspection test procedures are demonstrated
with detailed explanation of techniques and concepts.

· Top and bottom car, counterweight clearances, runby · Working
pressure for hydraulic elevators · Governor pull through and release
carrier pull out forces
